Did you know there are 87 jobs on a football field? The York Region Lions Fall tackle programs, geared towards junior players, put learning at the forefront. Everyone learns a variety of 'jobs' in a fun, inclusive environment. The programming is structured, with fully trained and certified coaches and club provided equipment.
Our tackle football programs are full contact. Players are taught contact fundamentals, with a focus on heads up football. Players are not put into a competition situation until they are comfortable with the fundamentals they have been taught through Lions programming. Please note that playing time is not guaranteed.
