Note - Register early to take advantage of our payment plan. First payment upon registration, second payment due April 1, and third payment due May 1. 

2023 Spring Registration Fees:  

1) Lions Registration ($799)

Take Note:  No cheques will be accepted for registration.  All fees must be paid in advance of equipment being issued.

2) Purchase Football Canada Player Insurance ($43.81) 

(insurance must be purchased prior to contact practices begin)

What is it? Required insurance mandated by Football Canada for all participants. We will not allow any players to participate in practice without their insurance. Team managers will be keeping track through attendance at each practice. There are no exceptions. 

How:
a) Go to the Football Ontario website to purchase: https://app.teamlinkt.com/register/go/footballontario/20210

b) For association, select York Region Lions Football Association

c) Save your FO# - this is your proof of insurance

Take Note: Your team manager will confirm your FO#

3) If you were unable to upload identification online

We require a photocopy of identification (passport or birth certificate + health card with photo) IF you have not uploaded it during the registration process

Registration will not be considered complete without all the proper paperwork and identification.

Family Discount

Families registering 3 or more players will receive a $25 discount per player (a manual refund will be processed after all players are registered)

NEW - Equipment Deposit
Under no circumstances are stickers to be placed on Lions Helmets, including position numbers. All equipment needed to play will be loaned to each registered player for the season. A $500 deposit cheque is required at the time that a player is loaned equipment. Cheques will be held by the club Treasurer and returned once all equipment has been returned to inventory at the end of a player’s season. The equipment must be returned clean and must not be altered in any way.
