Registration for our Fall 2019 League is open now. Practices have begun!

U14 for players aged 12 & 13 (born 2006-2007)

U12 for players aged 10 & 11 (born 2008-2009)

U10 for players aged 8 & 9 (born 2010-2011)

2019 Fall Registration Fees: $425 + $50 insurance (early bird rate is in effect/insurance purchased for the spring league is still valid)

1) Purchase Football Canada Player Insurance ($50)

What is it? Required insurance mandated by Football Canada for all participants. You are allowed two practices before you are required to have mandatory insurance with the OFA. We will not allow any players to participate in practice beyond their two practices. Team managers will be keeping track through attendance at each practice. There are no exceptions. If you played summer ball you will have insurance already. Please forward this by email to your team manager.

How:
a) Go to the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) website to purchase: https://site2075.goalline.ca/register.php?reg_form_id=27360 
b) click on Player Registration 2019
c) For association, select OFA - York Simcoe

d) For discipline select tackle
d) print/save your confirmation that shows your Access ID

2) Lions Registration ($425)

Take Note: Preferred method of payment is online credit card. No cheques will be accepted for registration. To make arrangements to pay cash please email registrar@yorkregionfootball.com All fees must be paid in advance of equipment being issued.

 

3) Identification

What is it? Government issued photo ID is required for the team roster
 
How:
a) Make a copy of a passport OR birth certificate + health card (with picture)
b) You will be asked to upload copies of identification during the registration process
 

4) Submit your confirmations to your team manager

We require the following documents:

  • 2019 OFA Insurance confirmation (showing your access ID)
  • Photocopy of identification (passport or birth certificate + health card with photo) IF you have not uploaded it during the registration process

Registration will not be considered complete without all the proper paperwork and identification.

 Family Discount

Families registering 3 or more players will receive a $25 discount per player (a manual refund will be processed after all players are registered)

Fall Tackle Refund Policy
• Voluntary withdrawal prior to September 1, 2019 - 50% of Registration Fee
• Cut from team; full refund less $150.00 Administration Fee
• No Refund after September 1, 2019.

NEW - Equipment Deposit
Under no circumstances are stickers to be placed on Lions Helmets, including position numbers. All equipment needed to play will be loaned to each registered player for the season. A $500 deposit cheque is required at the time that a player is loaned equipment. Cheques will be held by the club Treasurer and returned once all equipment has been returned to inventory at the end of a player’s season. The equipment must be returned clean and must not be altered in any way.
